Happy Valentine's Day!
Today was wonderful. It was extremely cold again (-23 C) and we decided to stay in and not go out for coffee this morning. Instead Rebecca made pancakes, fried eggs, bacon and we had french press coffee with it. Fantastic!
Afterwards we went down to the water to take pictures of the sea smoke, a Maine phenomenon. You can't tell the difference between looking at the ocean and looking at the sky. Incredible. We spent the rest of the day reading and talking. I read an article about love that Rebecca had found and I felt so good after reading it. It said to truly love you need to understand your partner's suffering, which comes through communicating and listening. A wonderful read on a Valentine's Day afternoon. What a good day.
