I miss talking with Gary, I haven't seen him in a while and I think about our conversations often. We met Jay at breakfast this morning and talked about traveling. I got so excited to go on our next trip with Rebecca, I really can't wait. It feels like we haven't done that for years.
After breakfast I had a haircut in a salon in Rockland. The owner told me that I am adopting to the Maine culture too much (I was wearing boots and a flannel shirt) and that he would refuse to give me a haircut if I ever pull up in a pickup truck. He's super funny and it seems like I am the only guy that goes there. He hinted that the rest of the local population might be slightly homophobic.
