Today was one of the hottest days of this year so far. We got up early and I took care of a lot of errands first thing in the morning. After breakfast we went to Portland and picked up Rebecca's uncle from the airport. John is a great guy and I like him a lot. We haven't seen him for a few years and are excited for him to visit us in Maine. The last time we spent time together was in Ireland.
We went to the beach for the afternoon and stopped for ice cream on the way home. I love these summer days so much. They remind me of summer when I was a child.
