Cleveland, OH, USA

We spent the whole day in the car and drove from Cleveland, OH to Springfield, MA.

We talked a lot about about photography and social media and how the human nature seems to have a preference to think in tribes or camps. There isn't much in the photography world that annoys me more. Fuji just released a new digital medium format camera and everyone but the Fuji tribe was bashing it. The Leica crowd wants to wait until Leica catches up and the film shooters would never consider even having a look at the camera out of principle. I really can't hear it anymore.

What Fuji did there is true innovation and should be recognized as that. This camera has the potential to be the next Contax 645 of the wedding industry and it will be very interesting to see what impact it has on other brands. I'm very much looking forward to trying it and I can't wait to see how the results look like together with Rebecca's products.

I wish people could be a little more positive. If you don't like something, you don't need to instantly try to rip it apart on social media. You don't even always have to have an opinion about everything. Or defend your tribe.
