Rebecca told me an interesting quote today:
»Haters don't really hate you, they hate themselves. Because you're a reflection of what they wish to be.«
I had to let that sink in for a moment. I think if you put your work out there, you have to accept that not everybody will agree with you, like what you're doing or like you as a person. I've written about it on day 51/365, the goal for any type of artistic work shouldn't be to please other people.
I enjoy both positive feedback and constructive criticism of my work. But neither one changes how I feel about it.
