Wow! We watched Tarantino's new movie "The Hateful Eight" today and it was easily one of my favorite movies ever and definitely the best one I've seen in the last 20 years.
It's completely amazing how complex his movies are. The plot and the social criticism are clever, the actors were brilliant, the dialogues epic and the cinematography completely blew my mind. The movie was shot on 70mm film and I couldn't get over the feel it brought back. I adore every single bit of this movie, down to the flare they got in certain scenes with just the right light and the color grading of Kodak's gorgeous motion picture film.
I didn't expect it to be that good and I was completely engrossed for the whole time. I'm so thankful for this masterpiece and I feel completely inspired.
