Yesterday ended with a power outage. When we got up this morning I saw that the big pine tree down at the water had been blown over by the wind. A few shingles were missing from the roof too. The ocean crashed into the shore so strongly last night that our whole house vibrated. It looks like Ireland isn't the only country in the world with winter storms.
Today the sea was quiet again, as if nothing ever happened. Only the beautiful tree is missing.
