My day started with a blueberry pound cake at Rockcity Cafe this morning. We planned the day over breakfast and talked about darkroom printing with Gary. He saw one of my pictures yesterday and was really excited about it. He had a couple of ideas about how to print it best and I am really grateful about every bit of advice that he is willing to share with me. He has so much experience in the darkroom, it's unbelievable.
After breakfast we went out for a day trip on scenic drive that Rebecca found in a book. It felt so good to get out and just drive and admire how beautiful it is here. I think going out to explore and take pictures with Rebecca is my favorite thing to do in the world. I love just sitting in the car with her, talking and stopping every few minutes when either one of us sees a picture.
