We had so much fun at Rock City Cafe today. Gary arrived mid-breakfast this morning and sat down at our table. We caught up and talked for a bit when another gentleman sat down at the next table and asked him if the M2 on our table was a film camera. Gary told him yes, that it was his and that he brings it everywhere.
Rebecca and I were already laughing. It came out that Tom, the third guy, was a photographer too. I told him that I love photography and that it's wonderful - a great waste of time that gets you nowhere in life. After that all of us, including Tom, were just silly and couldn't really have a normal conversation anymore. So much fun.
Gary also told us that he is thinking about getting a studio for himself, which Rebecca and I encouraged him to do. After we were home, I downloaded my scans from RPL and we had dinner and a glass of wine. It was a good day.
