Today started with the most beautiful sunrise I've seen in a very long time. When I woke up, everything outside was already illuminated because there was so much snow reflecting all the light. I kissed Rebecca good morning and ran outside with my Hasselblad. The snow was over a foot deep and I took 5 pictures before I went back inside. Once we were both ready for the day we went for a walk in the woods and then I shoveled our car out.

We had a good breakfast at Rock City and then we spent the rest of the afternoon in the darkroom. Rebecca made a beautiful print and I'm so impressed by how talented she is and how quickly she is learning. She always likes a challenge and that's probably part of what she loves about printing so much.

I made a few prints too from my 365. My love for contrast and overexposure doesn't really make my life in the darkroom very easy. But luckily Rebecca isn't the only one in the family who enjoys a good challenge.
