We had a yummy breakfast at Bijan and Lauren's house this morning (including Bijan's world famous waffles) and then got on the road back home to Maine. It felt so good to see them again and spend so much time, meet their friends and their kids.
We talked about lenses for a bit yesterday and Bijan offered to loan us his 35mm Summilux. That was a dangerous but very kind offer and after a bit of bantering he convinced us that it's absolutely necessary to try and see how good this lens really is. I haven't shot anything but my 50mm lenses for more than 4 years and I'm slightly nervous to try something different.
