Timmy ran away on our morning walk today. He is not neutered and sometimes his nose redirects him without a warning. Luckily it had snowed and I could follow his tracks. After 45 minutes of hiking through the sleet I finally found him. He's 10 now and he had tried that a couple of times before, but never on a walk when I was close by. We had a wireless containment system for him in Ireland and I think we need to buy one again here too.

After having coffee together in town we shipped a few prints and also the 35mm lens that my friend Bijan had offered to borrow for a few days. Rebecca tried it on her M9 for about two days and also let me shoot a couple of frames on her camera, which was very helpful because of the instant feedback. It didn't take very long to realize that what I need in certain situations isn't a wider lens but a larger negative. I love looking at good pictures taken with that focal length, but the pictures I take with a 35mm lens don't feel like mine.
