Today marks 1/3 of my 365 project. I have a very hard time believing that 122 days went by that fast. Amazing, really.
I'm incredibly happy that I started this project on the day we moved here. I don't think anything else I ever did photographically ever challenged me that much. I tried to embrace all the ups and downs, experiment with new things and be ok with all of the discomfort this learning experience has brought to my life.
I also think that I understand myself a lot better, what drives me creatively and why. That resolved a lot of things for me and opened doors that have been firmly shut for a long time.
I'm also very grateful for the experience I've made after moving here. I've made so many friends, I feel so happy here and I begin to understand the culture a lot better too. I feel like I belong here. All of a sudden it makes sense that I never fit in anywhere else. Because here I do.
