I'm so glad that we did all that driving yesterday. It's a miracle, but the first car we looked at this morning worked out. We found a couple of things that looked wrong about it, but the dealer has had it for only 5 days and was relatively negotiable.

He tried to get me to fall in love with the car but I told him that I was born in Germany and that there's only logic in our purchasing decisions, no emotions. We laughed so hard. Of course that's not true, but we both had fun arguing forth and back over the price. I felt like a student again, buying my first car on a budget. We shook hands over 20% off his asking price and Rebecca and I were both pretty happy with that. It had a clean Carfax, was maintained meticulously and only had one owner.

I asked the dealer for a picture and I dearly hope it's going to show what I saw. On the way home I noticed that the heating doesn't work. I was thinking about the vanity plate "CHILL" for it. So it needs a service right away.

Today was a very long day. Welcome, little Audi.
