Happy Thanksgiving!
We went to town early this morning in hopes of a Rockland coffee and found out that the only stores open in the state of Maine on Thanksgiving are Dunkin Donuts and L.L.Bean. Not even Walmart was open. I think that's really so great. People work very hard in New England and they deserve their holidays.
Rebecca got a little concerned about our Thanksgiving dinner that we still had to buy all the ingredients for, having just arrived back from Nashville the night before. After a good breakfast we drove back home and saw that our little general store was open. Yay for dinner! It was fantastic!
I am so grateful to finally be home.
