Today was the first day in weeks that felt a little more quiet. I enjoyed it so much. Rebecca and I went out for breakfast, collected our mail from the P.O. Box for the first time and got groceries. Then we picked Timmy up from the kennel. I'm so happy to be back. It feels wonderful.
It's incredible what a deep sense of belonging I feel here in Maine. For the first time in my life. It's so different from the rest of the US and it's like the best of two worlds for me. It feels so good to just drive around and know that we don't have to move away again in a year. I love it here.
