The barista in our cafe greeted us with a super friendly "hey, how are you guys today?" and a smile this morning. When we sat down, Gary was already sitting at the next table and we talked for a bit. We're only here for a couple of weeks and people are so welcoming, it's incredible. It was so hard to socialize in Ireland.
When we came home from dinner, my friend Cody had messaged me and said that he would send us a house warming gift. That made my day. So much kindness today... if these people only knew how much that means.
I'm very thankful to be here and I fall in love with Maine and the United States a little bit more every single day. I can't wait for the winter. I love being out in the cold exploring with Rebecca and coming home to a warm fire.
