We visited Rebecca's aunt and uncle, Frances and Rich, in Boston today. It was a great day and we had a really good lunch in Lexington with them. They're the nicest people and I love spending time and talking with them. It's rare to be able to talk about family related things with people who are so reflected about it.
If there is one big lesson I've learned about myself, my own family dynamics and about life in general, it's that everything you don't deal with properly at the time of its occurrence will come back around in your life over and over until you do.
To me it seems like there are essentially two kinds of people. The ones that never acknowledge or work on any kind of personal dynamics. And the people that do, and that are always somewhat miserable over it.
