Today started with a delicious homemade salmon bagel and scrambled egg breakfast after sleeping in till 9:30am. I seriously can't remember the last time I slept that long.
After breakfast I finished bringing all of the firewood into the basement. Feels great to have that done, that was quite the undertaking and I'm mildly sore. I think what we got (half a cord) should last until the spring. We'll see. We made a fire twice already in that stove and two large pieces of wood lasted for the whole evening.
We bought a little gift for Gary's 60th birthday today, which will be tomorrow. Hope he likes it.
