We left yesterday evening at 7pm to collect family from Boston airport. They were delayed, we were delayed and on the way back a blizzard hit. We arrived back home at 7am in the morning. It seriously took 12 full hours to drive to the airport and back. We had to stop several times on the way home just to stay awake. Everybody instantly crashed after we arrived.
I got up around 10:30am and decided to walk Timmy and run out to get a couple of things for breakfast. The walk was so magical. I took a few pictures of the snowy woods and of Timmy playing in it. He was so exuberant.
My errands didn't end up happening because I couldn't get up the driveway with our car. Now I have serious doubts about the Audi Quattro ski jump commercial (they might have slightly exaggerated how well their cars perform in the winter).
It was a wonderful day.
