Today was really fun. We slept in for the first time since we moved here and had breakfast at the hotel. Then we drove another 4 hours to Nashville and checked into our next hotel around 2:30pm. Our room was already occupied by a few ladybugs.
After unpacking we went to the mall and got a birthday present. We had Mexican food for dinner and it was amazing. I cannot believe how good and inexpensive eating out is in the US compared to Ireland.
I took pictures around the mall today and upset a gentleman by taking his portrait. I'm still getting used to the cultural differences and how I have to approach people a little differently. Americans love privacy and personal space. Something that a person in Paris feels is flattering might be perceived as invasive here. I'll try to be more careful.
